About 70s Clothes
You've found a bunch of 70s clothes!
You will like this site if you enjoy 70s clothes. There will be plenty of 70s shoes, 70s dresses, 70s shirts, 70s pants ... you get the idea, right?
Into Disco Clothing? You will find the shiniest original outfits to go with that glitter ball spinning from your ceiling!
Many of these 1970's originals have been waiting in attics around the globe just to make their grand reappearance right here, on your computer monitor. Some is old stock that never made it off of the shelf back when The Brady Bunch and The Partridge Family were still on the air. It went into storage and became "deadstock". Hey, not everything could move like Sears Tuffskins. Ugh.
I grew up in the late 1970's and early 80's and honestly, I wasn't part of the hippie or disco generation. I was about the same age as the kids in the original Bad News Bears movies. So here I am in the next century figuring out how to set up these new-fangled web page thingamajigs and I've become interested in how websites manage to get seen without paying for the privilege. I decided to drop the money on this little domain and see if I could get seen. I figured that I'd have to offer something worthwhile so I'm re-organizing some 70s related eBay listings a bit to make them more user friendly (or at least I'm trying to do that). I have used eBay quite a bit and I have never liked dealing with the "clutter" that always comes back on my searches. I've tried to remove that for my visitors through the creative use of eBay's own filters. All of the listings are fully functional, but this site is a work in progress and I'll be adding to it constantly. If you've come looking strictly for 1970's clothes, you'll want to jump to the links at the top of the page or use the handy dandy eBay search box on the side panel. The blog portion will most likely contain 70's related content that I find entertaining. If you don't, I'm not offended. Some people think that my mind works in strange ways, so it is probably just proof that you're "normal"! The 70s clothes listings are all fully functional and I hope my sorting helps you find some things.
Oh. One more thing. As I set up this site, I did a little research. I learned that although it is very common to see "70s" or "70's", the correct way to write the abbreviation for 1970's is actually " '70s ". You will see this typed different ways throughout this site. This isn't because I've lost control of my apostrophe finger. I actually am curious which version will bring the most visitors, if any. No need to correct me on this. I get it.
Thanks for reading this far. Enjoy the 70s website.
