You were not just imagining that the 70s look was back. When the media notices, look out.

The point here is that the look of 70s clothing is still popular. I don't know if designers ever imagined that their fashions would be getting a fresh look 40 years later, but I'm sure they'd be thrilled. You know, you can do a lot with these old fashions, but you do want to try updating things a bit so that you don't constantly look like you are wearing a costume from a different decade (unless that is what you are going for!).

Someone who has a real flair for fashion can take what is old and give it new life by adding in a little bit of their own creativity and imagination. You should also take into account that not every style will look fabulous on every figure. Think about what old styles you can use to best show off your strongest points and avoid putting on anything that is going to accentuate areas of your body you might not want to highlight. There are all kinds of styles and fashions from the 70s that you can grab hold of and make your own. That is one of the neat things about that decade. There was so much creativity and variety. Make the most of it.

Related Posts:

70s Leather

There is nothing like checking out the real thing for vintage fashions. Many people come here looking for 70s clothes in the form of costumes, but some people prefer the original vintage clothing. I have been looking at a lot of old music videos lately. I don't really know why. Anyway, I've been finding a lot of old videos showing off fashions from the sixties and seventies. I thought I'd show off a few here. This is a video of 60s - 70s fashions that might either bring back memories or inspire you to a "new" look depending on how old you are. Either way, I hope you like it!

The 70s fashion trends have definitely proven their timelessness when it comes to their unforgettable and vibrant appeal that is why they inspire most of the costumes that are showcased at parties and events nowadays. The characteristics of this fashion era can be encapsulated in two words, bold and psychedelic. The 70s clothes have a very stunning and unmistakably attractive appeal. They are composed of vivid and conspicuous prints such as floral, animal prints and concentric circles and curves. These vibrant prints are combined with ruffled silhouettes in fabrics and striking color combinations. The outcome of these fusions is outrageously breathtaking. They can captivate the crowd from the entrance of a grand hall and being enveloped by them spells courage and confidence. They are just beyond something that you would wear on normal occasions and they exude that strong and eclectic vibe that is hard to miss.

Related Posts:

1976 Fashions|1976 Clothes

70s Fashion

Vintage Polyester Clothes

70s Leather Jackets

Big Mac Song

Powered by Contextual Related Posts

Big Mac Song

70's Fun

Video Fun

1970s

70's video

big mac song

mcdonald's big mac

retro 70's

If you were old enough to eat a Big Mac in the 1970's, you probably knew the Big Mac Song. When the commercial played, I would just shake my head in wonder at the boobs who couldn't remember "Two all beef patties, special sauce-lettuce-cheese, pickles - onions, on a sesame seed bun." I mean really. I think that might have been one of the first times I considered the idea that big companies didn't use "real people" in commercials. For me, this is a great 70's memory. Maybe it is because a trip to McDonald's was considered a treat. I don't know.

The Big Mac was introduced in 1968. The song came along in 1974. The commercial below is from 1975. I knew all of the words. ALL of my friends knew the words. Assuming you were born, did you?

According to Wikipedia, the song ad only ran for a year and a half. I guess that was one heck of a jingle. I still remember it word for word and note for note. By the way, that link also has a listing of the count on Big Mac Calories for different countries. Surprise...The U.S. has the highest! I couldn't find any proof online, but I sort of think the Big Mac has shrunk over the years. Take a look and compare.

OK, now that you've got that seventies vibe going on, I hope you'll look around and check out some of the 70s outfits available for you to check out!

Related Posts:

60s and 70s Clothes Video

1976 Fashions|1976 Clothes

70s Leather Jackets

Vintage Polyester Clothes

70′s Fashion News Video

Powered by Contextual Related Posts
